so goddamned picky

I buy a few new swimsuits every spring season for the upcoming summer. Last summer I only used one of my three new swimsuits a single time, so while I could be just as happy with my never worn other two, I am still going to purchase one.

Funny thing is, after all the scouring I have done on numerous websites and through a few boutique shops down on Burlington's lakeshore, I have only been able to find one that I like. And it's far less expensive that I usually toss out for something that contains the least amount of material I ever wear. Visibly, anyways.

Anyways, at $38 a piece for both the top and bottom, I am saving a whole load of money on this bikini from Victoria's Secret. I love that there's a pattern, but it's exclusively in black and white. I always have such a hard time trying to decide whether or not pattern actually seem to suit me, so black and white in a simple geometric scratch print seems perfect and the teal trim is necessary for me because I am sure I was look far too pasty in a straight black and white. Plus, teal is far better for my skin then anything in the red family, which includes everything from yellow to pink.

Now I just need to start an insane exercise regime so I can become maybe only double this model's size and hopefully by July I'll be able to face the beach. Until then, I'll be trekking out in my black deep racer back one piece with great side cutouts.
